SUMMARY:iSERVE My Community Backpack Drive
DESCRIPTION:iSERVE My Community Backpack Drive \nDate: Sundays June 29th – August 3rd \nLocation: Both LPCC Campuses \nRegistration Link: \nThe LPCC iServe My Community team is partnering with the Living for Purpose Community Development Center (LPCDC) to collect supplies for brand new backpacks that will be given to students in need at Hazeltine Elementary School in North Hollywood and Yucca Elementary School in Palmdale. Our goal is to put together 50 backpacks for each school. We are counting on each LPCC family to sponsor at least one child’s backpack\, by donating a backpack that includes the following items: \n– Backpack \n– Binder \n– Lined 3-holed Paper (for Binder) \n– Composition Notebook \n– Pens (blue or black ink only) \n– #2 Pencils \n– Erasers (small and square) \n– Scissors (small for arts) \n– Pencil Sharpener \n– Small box of crayons \n– Small box of colored pencils \n– Pencil Box \n– Glue Stick \n– Highlighter \n– Folder \nIf you cannot donate a physical backpack\, you can sponor the creation of one for $25 by texting BACKPACK to 54244. \nBackpack donations will be collected at the iServe My Community tables set up at each campus starting Sunday June 29th until Sunday August 3rd.
